Her career spans both the public and private sectors, equipping her with a strong understanding of EU decision-making processes and regulatory frameworks that shape food policy, nutrition, and health.

Working at the intersection of science and policy, Federica has consistently ensured that EU legislation is grounded in evidence-based approaches. At PAN International, she plays a key role in amplifying the voice of the public health community and advocating for the adoption of the Planetary Health Diet in EU policy, helping to protect the health of people, animals, and the planet in line with the One Health approach.
