Qu'est-ce que le projet "Healthy Hospital Food" ?
Our pilot project “Healthy Hospital Food” aims to sustainably improve nutrition in hospitals in Germany and Switzerland. The focus is on the introduction of healthy, whole food plant-based meals. The benefits of a change relate not only to the health of patients and staff, but also to profitability and public image in the long term. Currently, catering in many hospitals does not yet meet the recommendations for healthy nutrition. We tackle this with the “Healthy Hospital Food” project together with you.
Our Modular Offer:
Kitchen Crew Training
Inspire and train the kitchen to develop new recipes and cook with plant-based ingredients adapted to the regional and cultural setting.
Menu Analysis
Check the current menu against the Planetary Health Diet and national dietary guidelines to provide a data-driven approach on how to improve.
Continued Medical Education (CME)
Provide on-site and online training for medical and non-medical staff on healthy nutrition in the hospital.
Communication Support
Support internal communication about menu shifts in-hospital to staff and patients, as well as to the media in order to boost external awareness.
Evaluation & Research
Collaborate with you to evaluate the success of implementation and optionally conduct research projects on aspects of any menu-related shifts.
